Diurna's design goal is that there is nothing about you for us to collect, sell, leak, or subpoena. This page exists to say so precisely.
This website
No analytics, no cookies, no trackers, no forms, no embedded third-party content. The static pages you're reading are the entire exchange. The hosting infrastructure may keep standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, user agent) for operational purposes, as virtually all hosting does; we build nothing on top of them.
The app
Signals are stored in a local SQLite database on your Mac. Diurna operates no servers, has no accounts, and sends no telemetry — we never receive your data, in whole or in part. Data leaves your machine only when an MCP consumer you configure (such as Claude Desktop) requests a day, and what it receives is the flat signal list you can inspect yourself. What that consumer then does with it is governed by its own privacy policy, not ours.
Plugins and credentials
Plugins access only what their capability manifest declares, and you see that declaration before installing. When a plugin connects to an external account, its OAuth tokens are stored locally on your machine — they are never transmitted to us. Third-party services a plugin talks to (your calendar provider, your chat tool) handle your data under their own policies.
Your rights
Requests for access, correction, or deletion of personal data have a short answer: we have none to act on. Your signal store is a file on your Mac — deleting it is deleting everything. Questions are welcome as issues on the project repository.
